Wow, what a July we had here at the Kansas Underground Salt Museum!  Not only did we have record breaking attendance in July, but we also installed our new FanCam.

July was a hot month for us as we broke new attendance records on the 16^th with 655 guests!  Our previous record was 647 guests on July 11, 2009. July as a whole was a record breaking month with a total of 9900 guests, topping our previous record month, July 2009’s 9528 guests.  Our success hinges on the tireless efforts of our amazing staff and volunteer docents.

Our FanCam has been a big hit since the day it was installed! FanCam allows guests to take pictures that are immediately posted to our Facebook page, Kansas Underground Salt Museum. Guests can also send the picture to a personal email address and post it to their own Facebook page. We all have been having a lot of fun with it!

As we near the end of summer with fond memories, we look to the fall for new ones.
